INTRODUCING THE FIRST ANNUAL SILVERMAN MORTGAGE GROUP WINE POOL!

The concept is simple – you submit a bottle of wine to our office, and you have a shot at taking home 10, 25 or even 100 bottles of delicious wine. (The contest is a reverse draw format, making it even more fun – once you win, your name is eliminated, but the rest of the team members each still have a chance to win!)

If you are interested in participating in this year’s pool here are your next steps:

• Put together a team, gang, group, etc. of 6. Order easily through mywinecanada.comMyWineCanada_Logo
• Each participant is responsible for purchasing a bottle of wine with a value of $30 or more (mywinecanada.com), $29.95 is fine. See below for free shipping on some.
Team submission deadline is Friday, September 30, 2016. FIRST DRAW DATE IS MONDAY, OCTOBER 3.
Names will be pulled daily with a goal of finishing the pool by the end of Friday, October 14, 2016. (There will be a draw on Thanksgiving.)
• There will be an independent auditor present during all draws to make sure everything is on the up-and-up. SMG employees are eligible.
• Team captains will be responsible for bringing in their team’s wine prior to Friday, September 30. If all of your team’s wine is in by Monday, September 19 your team will be entered into the early bird draw (even if you have placed your order but your shipment has not been received by the above deadlines, they will still be counted towards the pool.

We’ve partnered with My Wine Canada, who represent over 90 wineries from across Canada, to run the program on our behalf – and yes, we will be participating too! My Wine Canada will make this easy for all of us.

Your shipment must be clearly labelled attention SMG WINE POOL in the company field of the order form and please ensure that they are shipped directly to our office. Here is how the draw will work:
Remember that once you win – your NAME is eliminated from the pool – the rest of your team members still have a chance to win big!
Assuming we have 50 teams of 6 or 300 participants: We have 300 bottles of wine:)
The draws will take place over a 10 day/2 work-week period starting Monday, October 3, and ending Friday, October 14 – participation must be confirmed by September 30.

WEEK 1:
Early Bird (by September 19) MONDAY: 10% of total bottles (30 bottles) NO ELIMINATIONS
TUESDAY: First name wins 5% of bottles (15 bottles). Then that name + 32 more are eliminated (33 total).
WEDNESDAY: First name wins 5% of bottles (15 bottles). Then that name + 32 more are eliminated (33 total).
THURSDAY: First name wins 5% of bottles (15 bottles). Then that name + 32 more are eliminated (33 total).
FRIDAY: First name wins 5% of bottles (15 bottles). Then that name + 32 more are eliminated (33 total).

WEEK 2:
MONDAY: First name wins 5% of bottles (15 bottles). Then that name + 32 more are eliminated (33 total).
TUESDAY: First name wins 5% of bottles (15 bottles). Then that name + 32 more are eliminated (33 total).
WEDNESDAY: (3rd Place Draw) 102 names remain. 3rd place name gets drawn, wins 10% of bottles (30 bottles). Then that name + 32 more are eliminated (33 total).
THURSDAY: (2nd Place Draw) 69 names remain. 2nd place name gets drawn, wins 20% of bottles (60 bottles). Then that name + 32 more are eliminated (33 total).
FRIDAY: (1st Place Draw) 36 names remain. 1st place name gets drawn, wins 30% of bottles (90 bottles).
